Teaming up with David & Goliath on a Jack in the Box commercial was a long time coming. From the moment we sat down with Jack the CEO of Jack in the Box we knew we we’re in for a wild ride. The Jack in the Box brand is known for having a great sense of humor and not taking itself too seriously, something we pride in ourselves over here at Roger. The setup for the spot was pretty simple, we wanted to spoof a technology company that takes itself very very seriously (almost to a fault) to introduce Jack in the Box’s new mobile app. We scripted out a ton of different scenarios to showcase Jack being trapped inside a cellphone to play off the line “It’s like having Jack in your phone”.
