Ryerson University entered into a new collective agreement with CUPE Local 233 in October 2018. The new collective agreement is now online: for Teaching Assistants (TAs), Postgraduate Assistants (GAs), Lab Monitors and Supervisors who will convert to an essential service model on our campus, it will be Ryerson University starting Wednesday, March 18. This first phase will allow institutions to reopen their doors to offer personalized education to students in critical, frontline and high-demand areas of the labor market, such as nursing, support staff, engineering and other critical professions.
