In India, rental income from real estate is taxed under the heading “Property Income”. A deduction of 30% is allowed on the total rent that weighs on the tax. And we have the lease of this house for two more years! There will certainly be an obligation to give preference to a driving licence and only drivers listed in the contract will be allowed to drive.
